Winona Lake Bike Park
At Hauth Trailhead
The Winona Lake Bike Park at Hauth Trailhead is the newest project for KCV to benefit our community members and visitors! With your support, you can make this new opportunity a reality.
KCV has had a long-term goal of developing a bike park in the Winona Lake area. In 2021, we acquired approximately 15 acres of land adjacent to the Winona Lake Trails which gave us the perfect location for our dream!
With access to the trails, the Greenway, and the town of Winona Lake, we’ve expanded the vision of the Winona Lake Bike Park to include:
- Off-Road Trail Expansion
- Add to our 10.2 miles of mountain biking/hiking
- On-Site Parking
- Conveniently located parking
- Central Location for Events
- Located by Grace College Miller Athletic Complex
- Skills Course
- Helps to advance bike handling skills
- Pump Track

Winona Lake Bike Park – Phase 2 & 3 Campaign
In 2021, Kosciusko County Velo (KCV Cycling Club) acquired 15 acres of land adjacent to the Winona Lake Trails (on the east side off of Pierceton Road) with the intent to build a world-class, all-ages bike park. The overall plan includes event space for Fat & Skinny Tire Fest and Winona Lake Trail Fest, pump track, skills park, jump lines, and more. Additionally, we will add more parking, clubhouse with restrooms, and the opportunity for expansion of the Heritage Trail Greenway to neighborhoods southeast of the park.
Huge thanks to all donors for our Phase 1 Campaign! The campaign is complete allowing us to complete the purchase of the land and complete Layout Planning & Design.
We are now fundraising for Phases 2 and 3 – Core Bike Park Construction, Pump Track, and Clubhouse. The Phase 2 (Core Bike Park Construction) goal is $1.7 million and will include site preparation, gravel parking lot, bike playground, skills park, dual slalom, progressive jump lines, and more. Site prep work will commence this fall with potential completion of this phase in late 2026, depending on fundraising status. Phase 3 fundraising ($1.5 million) for the pump track and clubhouse will begin immediately after Phase 2 is complete.
Through the Catalyst Corridor grant from Grace College and the Lilly Endowment, we have received $1,000,000 for Phase 2. Help us raise the remaining $700,000 so we can complete Phase 2 in 2026!
If you enjoy the benefits of the Winona Lake Trails, help us make them even better. Partner with us today to make a lasting impact on our community for all ages and future generations!
