Bike-to-Work Day Festivities

As part of the pre-festival activities, we encourage people to ride their bicycles to work! At 7 a.m. stop by Light Rail Café in the Village at Winona or on the Courthouse Square in Downtown Warsaw for a free cup of coffee and snacks. Join millions around the globe showcasing the impact of active transportation infrastructure. Kick off this year’s FSTF by joining us on Bike to Work Day!

Festival Kick-off Party

This free activity kickstarts the annual Fat & Skinny Tire Fest and is a highlight of the weekend for many! Riders of all ages “take over the road” for our Community Critical Mass Ride from the Village at Winona to downtown Warsaw. After the ride, the fun continues with a BMX stunt show, kid’s activities, the return of Friday night road racing with the all new downtown Twilight Criterium, as well as food and beverage vendors, and live music.

Road racing is back in downtown Warsaw. This 1/2 mile timed twilight road race, taking place around three blocks by the county courthouse is sure to be an action packed event for riders and spectators as part of the Festival Kick-off Party and Warsaw’s Third Friday activities.

Wildman Business Group Countryside Tour & Century Grand Start

The 12/19/39/63/101 mile lengths of the countryside tour will go southeast of Winona Lake and explore springtime farmland and rolling hills. Enjoy this ride through beautiful Kosciusko, Whitley, and Wabash county scenery, and end the tour with a relaxing afternoon in the Village at Winona with a cold pint of beer and great lunch served by Shawnanigans.

DINO Series Mountain Bike Races

Location: Winona Lake Trails Get Directions
The main state series for mountain bike racing will once again begin at the Winona Lake Trails this year—and you don’t want to miss out! The race is open to all skill levels, and riders will do one to three laps on the trails, depending on experience. This is a great chance for both new and seasoned riders to experience Indiana off-road.

Zimmer Biomet Circuit Road Races

Location: Claypool Elementary School Get Directions
This circuit-style road race offers multiple classes of racing, based on your USA Cycling class category. Racers will complete several laps of the circuit (depending on skill level) providing a challenge for all riders!

Our stunt shows presented by Warsaw Community Church take place right in the streets of downtown Warsaw and Winona Lake in the Village. Take the leisurely 3.5-mile Winona Historical Bike Tour to experience the stories and history that make up Winona Lake! On this great adventure, you’ll discover Winona’s revitalized history and local sites of interest, including local bike racing facts dating back more than 100 years.
