KCV Annual Poker Run (Ride)!

This is our annual way of saying thank you for a wonderful year of riding…Yep, it’s time for the Annual KCV Poker Run (Ride)!

We’ll carry on the local riding season’s year-end tradition with the casual, just for fun, Poker Run, which will begin at 2pm at Hauth Trailhead off Pierceton Road.

The totally chill, family-friendly, Poker Run, features a surprise course (that’s right, no one knows the course until they start) of no more than 3 miles on the trails or 5 miles out on the greenway/road. Participants will start with 1 card, then do as many laps as they can within the 1.5-2 hour time limit to get a full hand. After riders have a full hand, they can turn in a card and do another lap for a different card. Prizes will be awarded to the best hands. We will also have a kid-friendly short course in the trails with prizes just for the kids.

Please bring a dish to share or a $10 donation for the trails, your favorite beverage (although we’ll have some cold brew on tap of course), your bike, your family and friends and your best poker face. We’ll provide the pulled pork, a few sides and assorted drinks, but this is a potluck and we need your help as well!

Register for the ride and drop off your dish at 1:30pm.

Dish recommendations by last name:

A-J: Dessert (ie cookies, brownies, pies, etc.)

K-R: Salad/Snack (lettuce salad, pasta salad, chips, etc.)

S-Z: Fruit/Vegetable (fresh fruit, fresh veggies, green bean casserole, etc.)
