Cycling Skills Training And Programs
The number of people riding bicycles is on the rise. Even before the pandemic highlighted our desire to get outside for physical activity, we’ve seen more people riding as infrastructure is built and access to safe bicycling expands.
As more people get out to enjoy riding a bike, KCV is committed to helping local bicyclists enjoy many miles of safe bicycling for transportation, recreation, or competition. Education programs that are designed to reach people of all ages and abilities will improve skills, build confidence, and provide guidance on maintaining equipment and accessories.
Educational Cycling Programs For All Ages
We’re proud to provide age-appropriate in-class training and on-the-bike skills activities for younger kids through Tracey’s Trailer Mobile Bicycle Education Project.
We focus on the early-to-middle elementary ages when kids are learning to ride their bicycles before they head out into their neighborhoods. Critical to their safety and enjoyment is knowing how to check their bicycle and what local laws for riding on roads might be as their skills improve and they begin riding more.
Additionally, we provide Tracey’s Trailer programs and safe bicycling education for teens and adults as well. Our hope is that we can be a resource and guide for Kosciusko bicyclists in growing their skillset, practicing what they learn, and getting to know other fellow bicyclists in the area while their skills improve.
If you are interested in learning more about available bicycle education training or would like to host a Tracey’s Trailer education program for a larger audience, please let us know.
